N2  - This Workshop Proceedings contains articles based on the ten talks given during the workshop on topics such as carbon nanomaterials, optics, electronics, as well as nanotechnology for sensors and for magnetic and biomedical applications. The German partners from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology, Fraunhofer Institute ENAS, sarastro and the INM were very positive about the outcome of this workshop and the pathways for several future cooperations were laid.
