| Abstract: | In the present study, we applied the 4C/ID model to the hazard perception domain and investigated the effectiveness of two of its components. A computer-based learning environment with animated traffic scenarios and supportive and procedural information was developed. We employed a 2 by 2 factorial design with the between-subjects factors supportive and procedural information. The results indicate that the two information types seem to foster different components of hazard perception performance: either speed or accuracy. |
